We are located over in Bowinpally, not too far from the Center Point landmark in Sikandrabad. It’s a small place, and if you walk in, you’ll see parts and cables all over the workbenches. We mostly deal with people bringing in laptops that won’t turn on or desktop towers that are making strange clicking noises. It is a bit of a messy shop, but we know where every screwdriver and spare RAM chip is kept. Most of the time, we are hunched over a screen or poking around inside a motherboard with a soldering iron. It’s quiet work, except for the hum of the cooling fans we have running. We get a lot of students from around Bowinpally coming in because they spilled coffee on their keyboards or their hard drives gave up right before an assignment was due. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for a specific part to arrive from across the city, so the shelves are usually full of machines waiting to be picked up. It’s not a shiny corporate office, just a practical spot where we fix things that are broken. We drink a lot of coffee and try to keep up with all the new gadgets and software updates that come out every month. It’s just us doing our thing here near the center.
