Captive Power Systems

Emerald House is on SD Road, and that’s where you’ll find us. We are up on the third floor, room 3015. It’s an older building, but it has character. SD Road is always moving, so there is never a quiet moment outside. Captive Power Systems has been in this office for a good bit now. The elevator is small, so sometimes we just walk up the three flights. It’s good exercise, anyway. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of manuals and some equipment scattered around. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at sites. When we are in the office, it’s usually to catch up on paperwork or organize the next day's tools. The light in the afternoon hits the windows just right, making the space feel bigger than it is. We have a small table where we take our breaks. Sometimes the neighbors from the other offices pop in to say hello. It’s a friendly floor. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything. People usually find us by looking for the number on the door. It’s a practical workspace for what we do. Nothing too fancy, just some desks and chairs and the smell of old paper. We like the location because it’s easy to get to different parts of the city from here. Most days we are just busy keeping things running and making sure the paperwork is in order.
