Sarla Machine Tools

We are set up in the Trade Centre at Ranijunj, specifically at G-12. It’s a large building and can be a bit confusing to navigate if you’re new, but we’re on the ground floor. We deal with machine tools and spare parts. It’s a lot of metal, heavy boxes, and technical talk. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. Most of our day is spent looking up parts or talking to guys who need something fixed in their shops. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s always some oil on the floor and the lighting isn't the best, but it works for what we need. We aren't into big marketing or anything. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they were already in the Trade Centre for something else. We just try to keep a decent stock of the things people ask for most often. If we don’t have it, we usually know where to get it. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us handling the counter and the back room. Ranijunj is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside. Sometimes we grab a tea from the stall nearby while we wait. It helps pass the time when things are slow. We just keep the door open and wait for the next person to come in with a part they need matched. It’s straightforward work and we’re happy enough doing it.
