KIES International

Our office is over at 5-9-152/26 in the Excise Colony, which is part of Mahalaxmipuri in Yapral. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s not like being in a big glass office tower downtown. KIES International has its roots right here in this neighborhood. You’ll find us working at our desks, surrounded by folders and computers. The streets in Excise Colony are usually lined with trees, so it’s a nice place to walk during lunch. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees; we are a smaller team that knows each other’s names and how we like our coffee. Sometimes the local delivery guys get confused by the house numbers, so we have to step outside to wave them down. We do a lot of work that involves things going on elsewhere, but our daily life is very local. We hear the neighbor's dogs barking or the sound of someone washing their car across the street. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, which helps when we have a lot of paperwork to get through. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just come in, handle the logistics and the emails, and try to get everything finished by evening. It’s a steady pace here in Yapral, and we’ve grown to really like the quiet of this specific colony for our office work. Most of the time, the biggest excitement is just seeing who's coming by the gate or if the mail has arrived yet today.
