Shakthi Industrial House

Shakthi Industrial House is located at No. 28, within the Lala Commercial Complex on Hill Street. Ranigunj is a pretty crowded area, and our spot in the 4-3-73/94 section of the complex reflects that. It’s a maze of shops and offices, and it took us a while to get everything settled when we first moved in. The building itself is old and has that specific smell of paper and old concrete. We spend most of our time dealing with orders and talking to suppliers who navigate the narrow streets to reach us. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but you get used to the shouting and the bells of the rickshaws after a week or two. Our office isn't very large, so we have to stack things pretty high to make everything fit. There’s always a bit of a mess on my desk, but I know exactly where everything is located. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or big brochures to hand out to people. Mostly, we just answer the phone and help whoever walks through the door with whatever they are looking for. It’s the kind of place where you know the tea seller by his first name and you know which fan in the ceiling makes the most noise. We’ve been part of the Ranigunj trade scene for a while and don't plan on going anywhere else soon. It’s just how we live.
