Sumit Engineering

Sumit Engineering is located on Road No 101 in Phaltan. You can find us right near the big water tank in the Satguru Peth area. It’s a busy spot near Jinti Naka where there is always some noise from the machines or people passing by. We do a lot of metal work and fixing things that break down. Our shop floor is usually covered in scraps and tools, and there is always the smell of grease and burnt metal in the air. It’s not the cleanest place, but we get the jobs done. People bring us all sorts of parts to look at. Some days we are welding all afternoon, and other days we are just trying to figure out why a machine stopped working. We’ve been here in Phaltan for a good while, so we know most of the shop owners on this road. We don't really do much advertising; people just know the water tank and find their way to our door. The fan in the corner barely keeps us cool in the afternoon, but we don’t mind much. It's just how the work is. We start early when it's still quiet and stay until the shutters go down in the evening. There isn't a lot of paperwork or fancy talk here. If something needs a weld or a cut, we just take a look and get to it. It’s a small operation with just a few of us working together to keep the shop running.
