Even though the name Konark Engineering Services mentions Pune, our main setup is actually in Kundalwadi. That is a small place in the Walwa taluka of Sangli district. We’ve been here for quite a while now. Our office isn't anything you'd find in a city business park. It is a practical space where we keep our tools and our engineering drawings. We do a lot of work for local industries and farms in the Maharashtra region. Being in Sangli means we are often on the move. We spend a good chunk of our week traveling to different sites to look at machinery or help with an installation. The roads aren't always great, and the dust can be a bit much, but that's just how the job is. We aren't the kind of people who sit in air-conditioned offices all day wearing suits. Usually, we're in our work clothes, ready to get our hands a bit greasy if that's what the job needs. We like being part of this community in Kundalwadi. People know who we are and they know they can just give us a call when they have an engineering problem. We don't have a big staff, so everyone does a bit of everything. We handle the paperwork, the repairs, and the planning all from this one spot. It’s a lot of work, but we’ve gotten used to the pace. We just focus on getting things fixed right. It is what we have done for years now.
