Working at the foundry in Satara means dealing with a lot of heat and heavy stuff. Our place is at ShivamBuglow, right in the Khindwadi area near Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe Nagar. It’s not your typical factory setup because of the location, but we make it work. Every morning the crew arrives and we start the day by checking what needs to be cast. There’s a lot of sand and metal everywhere. It's hard work and your hands get dirty within the first ten minutes. We don't spend time making things look pretty for visitors. We focus on the molds and making sure the metal pours right. Satara has its own pace, and we fit right into it. Sometimes the weather makes the foundry even hotter, so we take breaks when we can. Neighbors know us as Cooper Foundry Pvt.Ltd. We’ve been at B1/2 for a while now. The bungalow surroundings are quiet compared to the noise we make inside. We handle the orders as they come in. It’s a practical business. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just melt metal and shape it into what’s needed. The day ends when the last mold is set and the floor is swept as much as a foundry floor can be. It’s just us doing the job we know how to do. We usually head home tired but satisfied with the work done.
