Speciality Urethanes Pvt Ltd is based out in the N 19 Additional Midc Area in Satara. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s mostly factories and warehouses around us. We work with urethanes, which is a bit of a niche thing, but it’s what we’ve always done. The facility isn't brand new, but it works for us and has plenty of room. We have the big mixing tanks and the molds all set up. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, especially when the ovens are running at full tilt. We aren't a huge corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just a group of people who understand how these chemicals work together to make parts. Most of our day is spent on the floor, checking the consistency of the pours or trimming the finished parts. It’s hands-on work that leaves you tired. Satara is a decent place to be located for a factory. The transit links are okay for getting our products out to customers in other cities. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or trade shows because we'd rather focus on the shop. Usually, one person tells another about our work, and that’s how we stay busy throughout the year. We take pride in just getting the job done without a lot of fuss or drama. If you drive into the MIDC area, you’ll see our gate soon enough. It’s a practical setup for a business that likes to keep things simple.
