You can find our school near the S.K.G. Sugar Mill on the Bypass Road in Siwan. The sugar mill is a big landmark, so most people around here know exactly where we are. We’ve been part of the Siwan community for quite a while now. We aren't a massive, fancy school with a lot of expensive equipment. We are just a local public school that focuses on teaching the kids what they need to know. The road out front can get quite busy and dusty with all the trucks passing by, but we have our own quiet space inside the gates. We have a set of basic classrooms and a small area where the children can play when they aren't in lessons. Most of our staff are local people from the Siwan area, so they understand the families who send their children here. We don’t have a lot of extras, just the usual desks, blackboards, and books. Our goal is just to make sure the children get a decent education so they can figure out what they want to do later in life. We deal with all the typical issues of running a school, like fixing a leaky roof or getting more benches when we need them. It’s simple, honest work that we’ve been doing for years. We just take it day by day and focus on the students who depend on us.
