Over on Goshala Road in Vijay Hata, you’ll find Mahaviri Sarswati Vidya Mandir. It’s a place that’s been around for years, and we’ve seen many groups of students pass through our doors. The school sits right on the road, so it’s easy to find if you’re passing through this part of town. We have a set of classrooms that we try to keep in decent shape, though with hundreds of kids, things get worn down. It’s just us local folks running the place. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. When something breaks, we usually try to fix it ourselves or call someone from the neighborhood. The morning starts with everyone gathering in the yard, and then it’s straight to the books. We focus on the lessons and making sure the kids understand what they are reading. The office is often a bit cluttered with stacks of paper and old records, but we know where everything is. Vijay Hata is a busy area, and the sound of the traffic on Goshala Road is always there in the background. We are used to it by now. It’s a simple life here, just teaching and keeping the school going day by day. We don't have fancy websites or big ads; we just let the work we do speak for itself to the parents who live around here and know us.
