Our facility is situated at the Rural Focal Point in Vill. Bhidran. Since we are in the milk products business, being out in a rural area makes the most sense for Sangrur Milk Products Pvt. Ltd. We are surrounded by fields and it is much quieter here than in the town of Sangrur. We have a building where we process the milk and get everything ready for transport. It is a practical space, mostly concrete floors and stainless steel equipment that we have to keep very clean. We start our work very early in the morning when the milk trucks arrive. It is a small team of us from the local village. We all know each other and we have a rhythm to how we work. There is no big corporate office here, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the logs and the delivery schedules. The air usually smells a bit like fresh milk and cleaning supplies. Sometimes the roads leading to the village get muddy when it rains, which can make things a bit slow, but we always manage to get the work done. We don't do any fancy marketing. We just focus on getting the products right and making sure the trucks leave on time. It is a steady kind of life and we like being part of the community here in Bhidran. We just do our job every day. It takes about twenty minutes to drive out here.
