Northen Industries

If you head down to the New Grain Market, you’ll find us at Scf-1. Northen Industries has been operating out of this unit for a good bit of time. The market is always loud and there’s always trucks moving around, which is just how it is around here. We aren't doing anything flashy. It's mostly just hard work and keeping track of orders. Sometimes the dust from the market gets into everything, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our space isn't huge, but it fits what we need to do. The guys show up early, usually before the sun is even up, to get a head start on the day's tasks. We don't really have a big office staff or anything like that. It is just a handful of us making sure things run. We’ve been at Scf-1 since we opened. People sometimes get lost looking for the specific stall numbers, but once you find the New Grain Market, we aren't too hard to spot. We do our work, talk to the neighbors, and try to keep things moving. There’s no big secret to how we run Northen Industries. It’s just showing up every day and handling the tasks as they come. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how the grain market is. We like it fine enough. It’s honest work for us, and we keep the coffee pot full all day long.
