Iqra International School & Islamic

We are located in the Himeda Apartment over in the Peth Maap area of Chiplun. It is a bit of an unusual spot for a school, being part of a larger building complex, but it works for us here in Ratnagiri. Iqra International School & Islamic isn't spread out over a giant field; instead, we have our rooms and corridors tucked into this specific space. Because we are in a residential-style area, it feels a bit more like a community than a cold institution. The hallways are narrow, and you can often hear the sounds from the neighboring apartments or the street noise from below. We have a small area for the children to gather together, and we make the most of the space we have. The teachers here focus on the daily lessons, and we have a lot of books and supplies stacked up in the corners of the office. It can get quite warm in this part of the country, so we keep the windows open and the fans going all day long. We do not have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you will just find one of us sitting at a desk near the entrance handling whatever comes up that day. It is a very practical environment. We have our set times for classes and for prayers, and everyone just follows the rhythm. It is a quiet, busy little school in a busy part of town. We just do our work.
