Central School

Central School is situated in Akshay Nagar, Sangli, right across from the Vishrambag Railway Station. We are also very close to the Varnali Office, which makes us easy to find for anyone in the area. Being so close to the station means we hear the trains quite often, but it’s something that the students and staff have just accepted as part of our daily environment. The building is an older one, but it is sturdy and has plenty of space for all our activities. We have several long corridors with classrooms on both sides. The playground is a bit dusty and the ground isn't perfectly flat, but it’s where all the football and cricket games happen during lunch. We don't have a fancy entrance or a lobby. It’s a very straightforward setup where you can just walk in and find someone to help you. Our students come from all over Sangli, and many of them use the train to get here because of the station nearby. The teachers are a mix of experienced older staff and some younger ones who have just started their careers. We don’t have air conditioning or a high-end cafeteria; students usually bring their own lunch boxes. It’s a simple, honest place where we focus on the core subjects and try to keep things running smoothly. We just provide a basic, steady place for education in this part of town.
