If you’re walking around Sahid Nagar in Bhubaneswar, our office at Plot No 404 is pretty easy to spot. It’s a well-known area in Orissa, and we’ve been part of the landscape for quite a bit now. Working at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co means dealing with a lot of paper and people every single day. The office itself is pretty basic, with some old wooden desks and chairs that have seen better days. We don't really go for that polished corporate look because that’s not who we are. We’re just a bunch of regular people trying to help our neighbors with their insurance. Sahid Nagar can get quite crowded, especially during the peak hours, so we’re glad our plot is easy enough to find. Inside, you’ll usually find us sorting through stacks of documents or talking to someone who walked in from the street. It gets a bit humid in the summer, but the fans keep the air moving. We’ve had some of the same people coming back to see us for years, which is nice. It makes the work feel a bit more personal. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just focus on the task at hand. Life insurance isn't always the easiest thing to talk about, but we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. If you’re near Plot No 404, you’ll see us there, just doing our thing and keeping the records straight for the community. We stay until the work is done.
