Venugopal

My office is at 102, Chekkara Street in the Komarasamypatti area of Salem. It is a local street where most of the neighbors know each other by name. I have been working under the name Venugopal from this same spot for quite a long time. The 636001 area is pretty big, but Chekkara Street feels like its own little community. My setup is very simple. I have my desk, a few chairs for visitors, and all my records stored nearby. I do not have a big staff or a secretary sitting at the front. Usually, if you come by, you will be talking directly to me. The building is an older one and it has its own little problems, like how the door gets stuck when the weather is humid. I do not see the point in spending money on fancy furniture when it does not help the work get done any better. I am usually here six days a week, keeping things moving. It is a quiet way to live and work. I handle the specific tasks that people bring to me and I do not worry about being a big company. I just like being part of Salem and doing my bit for the local people. Sometimes I go next door to have a tea and a chat. If you are looking for number 102, just keep an eye out for the small sign on the door.
