Vishakha Engineering

You can find us at 67/89 on Kothandaraman Kovil Street in Chinnavedapatty. It’s a decent spot, right near the temple, so there is always some activity happening outside. During festival times, the street gets really crowded, and it can be hard to get materials delivered, but we manage somehow. Vishakha Engineering isn't a huge operation. It’s just a workshop with high ceilings and a lot of steel parts resting against the walls. We have a small desk near the front for paperwork, but it’s usually covered in grease smudges and old coffee cups. The lighting isn't the best, so we rely a lot on the sunlight that comes through the main entrance. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighbors all know the sound of our grinders starting up in the morning. Sometimes we stand out front for a bit of a break and talk to the people walking by. It’s a very local way of doing things, nothing like those big corporate places in the city. We don’t have polished floors or matching uniforms. Most days, we’re just covered in dust and focused on getting the measurements right for the job. It’s a bit of a grind, literally and figuratively, but we like the independence of having our own shop on this street. We just take things one day at a time and do the work that needs doing until it’s time to head home.
