Ssr Vermi Compost is located at 39 A Vaiyapuri Chetty Street in Ammapet. This isn't the kind of business where you wear a suit and tie. We spend a lot of time with our hands in the dirt, literally. Vermicompost is all about the worms and the soil, so things can get a bit messy. Our place on Vaiyapuri Chetty Street is where we manage everything. It’s a simple street with a lot of houses and small shops nearby. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our customers are local farmers or people who have gardens at home and want something natural for their plants. We spend our days checking on the pits and making sure the moisture is right. It’s slow work, you can't rush the worms. The smell is earthy, which I’ve grown to like over the years. My brother helps me with the heavy lifting and the deliveries. We have an old rickshaw we use for the short trips around Ammapet. It’s not a big operation, just us working in the yard and the shed. We don't have a website or any of that. If people want to find us, they usually just walk down the street and look for number 39 A. We like it that way. It keeps things honest and straightforward.
