New Paras Traders

New Paras Traders is right here on 15, Kitchipalayam Main Road. It’s a pretty straightforward trading business. We deal with whatever comes our way and try to keep the shelves from staying empty too long. The road outside is always noisy with traffic, which is just part of being in this area. We have been here long enough that the local shopkeepers all know us. Our space isn't very big, so we have to be careful about how we stack things up. It’s just a few of us working here, usually in shirtsleeves because it gets hot in the afternoons. We handle a lot of different goods and the inventory changes quite a bit from week to week. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just talk to people face to face or over the phone. Most of our work is just keeping track of what people want and finding where to get it for them. It’s a lot of writing things down in ledgers and making calls. We try to keep things simple and honest. If we have it, we sell it. If we don't, we tell you. That’s just how we operate at this shop. The floor is a bit dusty sometimes from the road, but we keep the work moving. It's a decent way to spend the day and we enjoy the people who stop by.
