Siddharth Plastics

At Siddharth Plastics, we keep things pretty simple. Our place is at 45, Karungalpatty in the Gugai area. It’s a part of town that has a lot of history with small businesses like ours. We have been in this spot for several years, working out of a building that has seen better days but still does the job. We deal in plastic items, mostly things for industrial use or bulk buyers. The space inside is mostly taken up by boxes and rolls of material, so there isn't much room for a fancy lobby or anything like that. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. The neighbors are mostly other small workshops, so there is always the sound of machines or hammers nearby. We don't have a big philosophy or a fancy mission. We just show up, open the shutters, and see who needs what. Sometimes the heat in Gugai gets a bit much, but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us since we first started. We don't do any social media or internet ads. If someone needs plastic, they usually just know to come to Karungalpatty. It is a lot of lifting and carrying, but we are used to it by now. Just a regular business trying to stay afloat and serve the people around us. We don't need much more than that to be happy.
