We are located at 22, Sabapathy Moulding Street in the town of Elampillai. If you walk into our place, the first thing you will notice is the smell of all the different fabrics and the stacks of cloth that reach almost to the ceiling. It is a very hands-on kind of business and we spend most of our time measuring lengths of fabric and cutting them for customers. There are threads and small scraps of cloth all over the floor because it is nearly impossible to keep up with the cleaning while we are working. We have a few big tables where we spread everything out to show the colors and patterns. Elampillai is a place where a lot of people do this kind of work, so we are right at home on Sabapathy Moulding Street. We don't have a computer to track everything; instead, we have a thick ledger where we write down every sale by hand. It might seem a bit old-fashioned to some, but it has worked for us for a long time. The work is physically demanding and our hands are often stained with different colors from the textiles. We aren't a big company with a lot of rules. We are just a local family business that has been at this same address for years. We know our fabrics well and we just take things one day at a time without much fuss.
