Zeenat Handicrafts

We’ve been on Bazdaran Street for a while now. Zeenat Handicrafts is basically just us making things by hand in our little workspace. It started small, and to be honest, it’s stayed pretty small, which is how we like it. Mostly, we work with wood or fabric, depending on what kind of orders come in. The workshop gets pretty dusty sometimes, and there are scraps of material all over the floor by the afternoon. People often walk in and see us busy at the benches. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or sleek furniture. We just try to get the work done right without any fuss. Sometimes the orders pile up and we have to stay late, but we manage to get through them. Most of the stuff we make ends up in people's homes around the area. It’s nice to know something we spent hours on is actually being used by someone. Bazdaran Street has a lot of history and we feel like we fit in okay here. We don't have a big office or a marketing team. Just the benches, the tools, and our hands. My cousin helps out when things get really busy. We don't really do big ads or anything like that. Usually, people just find us or someone tells them about the shop. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. The materials come from nearby markets. We spend a lot of time sanding and polishing until it feels right.
