A L M Leather Ltd.

We are located over at A L M House, which is part of the Chabbra Complex on Ambala Road. You cannot miss the sign for A L M Leather Ltd if you are driving by. It is a busy area with a lot of shops and people moving around. Our space is mostly filled with the smell of leather, which I have grown to like over the years, though some people find it a bit strong at first. We deal with hides and all the processing that goes along with it. It is dusty work sometimes, and your hands definitely get dirty by the end of the shift. We have got a bunch of different machines for cutting and treating the material. It is not a quiet place, that is for sure. There is always some kind of noise happening, whether it is a machine running or someone shouting across the floor to be heard. We do not have a big corporate office or anything like that. My desk is right near the back where I can see what is going on. We just try to get the orders out to the customers without making too many mistakes. It is a lot of manual labor and checking things by eye. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch, but nobody complains much. We just get on with it and look forward to the weekend like everyone else. It is just a job.
