About Rajeev Brick Fields – Building & Construction Material in Saharanpur
Rajeev Brick Fields is out in Village Sambhalerhi, which falls under the Rampur Maniharan tehsil. It is a very rural area, mostly surrounded by sugarcane fields and open land. Because we are so far out, it is actually quite peaceful when the kiln is not roaring. We use the dirt from the local fields, which has a specific texture that works well for us. The process is slow. You dig the earth, mix it, mold it, and then wait for the sun to do its job before they even go into the fire. My father used to do this, and now I am doing it too. Not much has changed in the way we make them over the years. We still use the same old wooden molds. Sometimes the village children come by to watch the fire, but we have to tell them to stay back for safety. The road out here to Sambhalerhi can get very muddy during the rainy season, making it hard for any vehicles to get in or out. We usually just shut down for those couple of months and do maintenance on the chimneys. It is a seasonal rhythm that we have grown used to over time. We do not have any fancy brochures or a sales team. Most people just know Rajeev through word of mouth around the village and the rest of the tehsil. We just try to make enough to keep the place running and the workers paid.
