A.B.R Bricks

A.B.R Bricks is right on the Chilkana Main Road in Daraali. We are pretty close to the old bus stand, which makes it easy for the trucks to pull in and out. Being in the Nakur district, we see a lot of local traffic. The yard is usually full of dust and the sound of people working. It’s not a quiet place, that’s for sure. We’ve been running this spot for several years now. It started small and stayed pretty much the same size. We aren't trying to change the world, just making bricks for walls and buildings. The sun can be brutal out here on the road, but we stay at it. Most of the guys living nearby come here for work. We have a rhythm to how we stack and bake the bricks. Sometimes a batch doesn't turn out quite right, but that's just part of dealing with raw earth and fire. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you'll probably find us near the kilns or checking the drying racks. It's a humble way to make a living, but it suits us. The location near the bus stand is convenient for everyone. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s a basic business for basic needs, and that’s fine with us. We’ve seen a lot of people come and go from the bus stand while we’re out here working in the dirt and the sun.
