Noor Handicraft

Noor Handicraft is located at Plot No. 598 in Ibrahimabad. We are down Peer Wali Gali, specifically on Gali Number 14, which is quite close to Noor Masjid. The streets here are very narrow and busy, so it can be a bit of a struggle to get larger pieces of wood through the lanes. We do a lot of hand-carving and detailed work in our shop. It’s a small space, so each of us has our own little area where we keep our tools. We’ve been in this part of Purani Mandi for a long time. The sound of the neighborhood is part of our day, from the children playing to the calls from the mosque. We don't use much in the way of big machinery. Most of what we do is done by hand with tools that have seen better days but still do the job. We don't spend any time on marketing or trying to look polished. We just work on our crafts and wait for people to stop by. Sometimes the work is slow, and other times we have more than we can handle. We just take it as it comes. It's a good community here, and we know most of the people who live on our street. We aren't looking for anything more than a steady day of work and making things that people like. We try to be fair and do the work the right way. It’s just us here near the masjid.
