Noble Wood Crafts

Our shop is on College Road, in the Sarai Mardan Ali area. We are not too far from Islamia Degree College, so there are always students walking by on their way to classes. Noble Wood Crafts is a place that feels a bit tucked away from the main bustle of the city center. The street is lined with other small shops and some old houses. Inside our workspace, it is usually a bit cramped because we have piles of wood waiting to be used. We use a lot of traditional tools along with some newer ones, and the noise can get a bit loud during the middle of the day. The building is older, so the walls have some cracks and the paint is peeling in spots, but it doesn't bother us. We are more focused on the pieces we are putting together. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively. The local tea seller brings us rounds a few times a day, which is when we usually take a break and sit on the stools outside. It is a regular neighborhood business where we know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers. We don't have any fancy brochures or a marketing team. We just do the woodcraft work as it comes in and try to make sure everything is solid. It is a bit dusty and the hours are long, but we like being part of the street here.
