Our workshop is tucked inside the B.P. Compound on Bomanji Road. It is right near the Saharanpur Electric Press, so you can usually hear their machines humming along with ours. Finding us can be a bit tricky for people who have not been here before because the compound entrance is easy to miss if you are driving too fast. Once you get inside, it is all industrial. We spend the bulk of our time working with various metals and mechanical parts. The air usually smells like grease and welding sparks. It is a very practical place with no extra decorations. We have benches covered in wrenches, nuts, and bolts that we swear we will organize one day but never quite do. The floor is hard on the feet after standing all day. Bomanji Road is always busy with trucks and rickshaws, so there is never a quiet moment. We have had some of the same customers for a decade because they know where to find us in the back of the compound. We do not have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there with greasy hands ready to talk about whatever part needs fixing or making. It is a simple life of measuring things and making sure the fit is right before anything leaves the shop. Just an honest day of engineering work in a crowded corner of the city. We keep the doors open for the breeze and get on with things.
