Cbs Convent Higher Secondary School

Being out here in Vijaynagar Rajakhedi, things are a bit quieter than the main part of Sagar. We’re near the Makronia Camp area, so there’s a lot of movement during the day. The school building is pretty tall, and you can see it from a distance when you’re coming down the main road. I usually get in before the sun gets too hot. The morning assembly is usually a bit of a scramble to get everyone in line. We’ve got kids from all over this side of town. The classrooms are filled with those old wooden benches that have seen better days, but they do the job just fine. We spend a lot of time dealing with the usual school stuff, like lost water bottles or kids forgetting their notebooks. It’s not a shiny, new place, but it’s sturdy and serves the neighborhood. The teachers spend their breaks in the small office, sharing snacks and talking about the upcoming exams. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to open all the windows to keep the rooms from getting too stuffy. The playground isn't huge, but the kids don't seem to mind when they’re running around during recess. It’s just how things are here in this part of Madhya Pradesh. We do the work, the kids learn what they can, and we all head back once the final bell rings in the afternoon. It's a long day.
