Mangalmurti Restaurant

If you are driving down National Highway No 8 near Shamlaji, you will probably see Mangalmurti Restaurant. We are right there at Rudardi, in the Sabarkantha area. It is a busy spot because of all the trucks and cars going towards Himatnagar. Being on the highway means we see a lot of different people every day. Some are just stopping for a quick break while others sit down for a full meal. The restaurant is a practical place. We don't have fancy carpets or quiet music. It’s mostly just the sound of the road and people talking. We serve the kind of food that fills you up so you can keep driving. The 383355 area is home for us, and we have been here long enough to see the highway change quite a bit. It gets very busy on weekends and during holidays when everyone is traveling. We try to keep things moving fast because nobody likes to wait when they have a long road ahead of them. The kitchen stays busy from early morning. We also look after the folks coming from Himatnagar. It’s a straightforward business. We provide a place to sit, some water, and a hot plate of food. There isn't much more to it than that. We just work hard and hope the travelers leave with a full stomach and enough energy for their trip. It's dusty and noisy, but it’s our life out here on the main road.
