Dadi Sa The Restaurant and Banquet

You can find us on the first floor of Trimurti Avenue, right at the Sahakari Jin Char Rasta in Himatnagar. We are right on National Highway Number 8, so we get a lot of people who are just passing through on their way to somewhere else. Dadi Sa The Restaurant and Banquet is a bit of a mix. We have the restaurant part for daily meals and then the banquet hall for when people have something to celebrate. Being on the highway means we never really know who is going to walk through the door next. One day it might be a busload of tourists, and the next it’s just a local family from the neighborhood. We have to keep a lot of chairs ready and the kitchen has to be prepared for anything. It’s a big space to keep clean, and being on the first floor means there’s a lot of carrying things up and down the stairs. The view from the windows is just the highway and the traffic moving along, but it’s a good spot. We’ve been here long enough that people use us as a landmark when they are giving directions. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when there is a big event in the banquet hall, but we just get through it. We handle everything from small dinners to big wedding parties. It keeps us busy all the time and we just do our best.
