Saint Pauls International School

Saint Pauls International School is situated in Sas Nagar, Mohali. It’s a busy part of town, and the school is right in the middle of it all. The building itself is quite modern compared to some others, but it still has that lived-in feel with scuff marks on the walls from years of students moving about. In Mohali, the seasons really change, so we go from being very cold in January to quite hot by May. We have a lot of different people coming through the doors every day, from the bus drivers to the parents and the kids themselves. The hallways are long, and sometimes it takes a while to get from one end to the other. We have a library that stays fairly quiet, which is a nice change from the loud noise of the playground during the afternoon break. The kids here come from all over Sas Nagar, so there is always a mix of stories being told. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on the curriculum and making sure the exams are handled properly. The teachers often stay late to finish their marking, and you can see the lights on in the windows from the street. It’s a big operation, but we try to keep it feeling like a community where everyone knows everyone else’s name. It’s just a standard school routine that keeps us all busy. We keep the registers updated and the classrooms tidy for the next morning.
