Holy Child Smart School

Holy Child Smart School is located in Village Patti, near the Manakpur post office in the Ropar district. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, which is actually quite nice for a school. We call it a smart school because we try to include a bit more modern stuff than the really old-fashioned places, but we aren't some futuristic tech hub. We just have a few more computers and some updated teaching aids. The village of Patti is a small community, and we feel like a big part of it. Most of the kids walk here or come on their bicycles. The building itself is clean and kept up okay. We have a small playground where the children spend their breaks. It’s not huge, but it’s enough for them to run around. Ropar can get quite cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, so we do our best with fans and heaters when we can. The teachers here are hard-working. They don't just teach from books; they really try to talk to the kids and see how they are doing. We don’t have a big office or a reception desk with a fancy person sitting there. Usually, you’ll just find one of us handles the paperwork when we aren't in the classrooms. It’s a small, local operation that cares about the kids in Manakpur. We just want them to have a decent start in life without much fuss.
