Rising Sun Public School

Rising Sun Public School is located in Phase 3 of Shahi Majra, right in the middle of Sector 58 in Mohali. It’s a very busy part of the industrial area, so there’s always noise from the traffic and the factories nearby. The school building is several stories high and the stairs are usually a bit worn down from all the feet walking on them every day. We have quite a few classrooms and they are mostly just basic spaces with blackboards and rows of benches. It gets quite warm in the afternoons before the rains start, so we keep the windows open to catch any breeze. The teachers spend their breaks in a small room drinking tea and talking about their classes. Many of the children come from families who live right here in the neighborhood, so they just walk to the gate. There is a small market nearby where the older kids sometimes buy pens or snacks after the school day is over. It isn’t a huge, polished campus with big green lawns, but it’s a functional place where the local kids come to learn. The hallways can be a bit dark in the mornings until the lights are switched on. We try to keep things organized, though it can get a bit chaotic when everyone is leaving at the same time. It’s just a regular, local school that has been part of Shahi Majra for years now, and the families here rely on us.
