Mohali Travels & Foriegn Exchange

You can find our office at SCF-18 on the first floor in Phase 7 of Mohali. We are located right near the ICICI Bank, which helps people find the building without too much trouble. We handle two main things here: travel arrangements and foreign currency exchange. It makes for a very busy day, especially when the exchange rates are moving around a lot. We have a counter where we count out notes and check passports. It is a very standard office setup with a couple of chairs for waiting and some travel posters on the walls that have been there for quite a few years now. The windows look out over the street, so we see the daily rush of Phase 7 all day long. We have been here for a long time, and the local shopkeepers all know us by name. We don’t go in for big advertisements or fancy speeches about what we do. People come to us because we are right here in the neighborhood and they know what to expect. We keep our ledgers updated and make sure the cash is sorted at the end of every day. Sometimes we have to explain the different rules about currency to people, which takes a bit of time. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused on the numbers. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s a solid business that helps people get their money and tickets sorted for their trips abroad.
