Ashmah International School

Ashmah International School is situated in SAS Nagar, Mohali, in the area with the 160055 postal code. The building is a decent size and has several different sections for the various classes. It’s a typical school setup where the morning starts with everyone gathering in the yard for the assembly. You can hear the shuffle of feet and the teachers trying to get everyone into straight lines. The classrooms are filled with the usual desks and chairs, and the walls are a bit plain except for some student drawings or old charts. We have a small library room where the books are kept on metal shelves, and students can go there to read quietly during their free periods. The hallways are a bit narrow and can get quite busy and loud when the bells ring for the change of periods. We have a small canteen area where the kids can buy a snack or a drink if they need one. The building is functional and solid, though it shows the usual wear and tear from having hundreds of kids running through it every day. Most of the students come from around Mohali, so there is always a lot of activity at the gate during the morning drop-off. It’s a busy place with a lot of energy, but it feels like a regular part of the local neighborhood. We just focus on getting through the school year and making sure everything stays in order day by day.
