Bright Future Convent School

Bright Future Convent School is located about 20 kilometers out on the Mayan Mamadia Road. It is a bit of a drive from the main part of Rewari. You will find us right there in Mayan. It is a rural setting, so you see a lot of open fields and farmers around the school. The road can be a bit bumpy sometimes, but the buses and cycles make it through every single day. The school building stands out because there is not much else that tall in this immediate area. It is a plain place. We do not have any big fancy signs or neon lights. Inside, it is just rows of wooden desks and standard green boards. The morning assembly is usually when it is loudest, then it settles down into the usual school hum for the rest of the day. We get a lot of dust from the road when the wind picks up, but we just sweep it out and keep going. It is a practical kind of life out here. Most of the people working at the school are from the surrounding villages. We understand the local way of doing things. Sometimes a tractor goes by making a lot of noise, but we just wait a second and continue the lesson. It is a long day for some of the kids who come from the far villages.
