Martyr G. R. Academy

Our academy is situated in Sector 18, right along the Dhaliyawas Road in the Garhi Bolni area of Rewari. It’s a part of town that has been growing quite a bit lately. We are surrounded by houses and some local shops, so it feels very much like a neighborhood school. The building is simple and serves its purpose. We have a courtyard where the students gather, and it can get pretty loud during the breaks. The road outside can get a bit dusty, and when it rains, there are usually some puddles to jump over near the entrance. Our teachers are mostly people from the nearby sectors who walk or ride their bikes to work. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets or fancy lounges. We have chalkboards, desks, and books. The name of the school carries a lot of weight for us, but we don't go around shouting about it. We just try to provide a decent place for the kids to spend their day. The parents often stop at the gate to chat with the watchman or the teachers after school. It’s a very grounded environment. We don’t use corporate slogans. We just focus on the schedule and making sure the students are learning what they need to. It’s a lot of routine work, like any other local business or school, and we just take it one day at a time here.
