Universal High School

Universal High School is situated on Rallaguda Road in the Shamshabad area. Being relatively close to Hyderabad, this part of town has grown a lot lately, but we are tucked away enough to have a bit of our own space. The school is a simple building where the students come every morning. You will see the yellow buses arriving and the kids jumping out with their heavy backpacks. We have classrooms for all the different levels, and each one is pretty standard with rows of desks and a board at the front. The teachers spend their entire day moving from one room to another, trying to stay on top of the lesson schedule. It can get quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going all the time. We have a small area for the kids to play during their breaks, and that is usually when the place gets really noisy with everyone running around. The office is right at the front of the building where parents come to pay their fees or ask questions about the upcoming holidays. We do not have a lot of high-tech equipment, just the basic things you need to run a school properly. It is a lot of repetition, teaching the same subjects year after year, but there is always a new group of students to get to know. It is an honest way to work.
