B L S Public School Dokargaon

Our school is located at Plot No 28 in Bal Reddy Nagar. This is over in the Dammaiguda part of Hyderabad. It’s a residential neighborhood with a lot of houses and small shops. B L S Public School Dokargaon is basically a local school for the families who live around here. We aren't a massive place. It’s just a building on a regular plot of land. Every morning you can see the kids walking down the street to get to the gate. We have a small staff and we all know each other pretty well. The rooms are filled with desks and posters the kids made. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, so we have the fans going all the time. We don't have any of those big fancy facilities you see in international brochures. It’s just classrooms and a small area for the kids to hang out during their breaks. We follow the usual syllabus and try to stay on track with the exams. Dammaiguda has grown a lot lately, so there are more houses than there used to be. This means we have more children coming in. We just handle things as they come. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to adjust. It’s just the way things are. We aren't trying to be anything other than a neighborhood school. People know where Plot No 28 is. We’ve been here, and we plan to stay here doing the same thing.
