Mamta Fabrication Works

We are easy to find because we are right at Argora Chowk, very close to the SBI. If you are standing near the bank, you can probably see our shop front. It’s usually got a bunch of iron rods or half-finished gates leaning against the wall. At Mamta Fabrication Works, we mostly focus on things like window grills, gates, and small iron frames. It’s a dusty place because we are right on the main road. The traffic at Argora Chowk never really stops, so there’s always a bit of smoke and noise coming in. We have a few welding machines and some old cutters. My hands are usually black from the soot by noon. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just stop their bikes and ask if we can fix something or make a new grill for their house. I spend a lot of time measuring things and then realizing that the metal needs more heat. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of town and we just have to sit and wait for it to come back so we can finish the weld. It’s a simple shop with a tin roof. When it rains, the sound is so loud we can't hear each other speak. We just keep working until the job is done and the customer is okay with it. That is how things go at Argora Cowk.
