We are located in Block D, Flat 1A of Mecon Vatika. It’s in the Kalyanpur area of Hatia, right here in Ranchi. Hatia is a well-known part of town, and Mecon Vatika is a decent residential complex where we’ve set up our Jsw Steel Ltd office. Being on the first floor is handy because we don’t have to wait for the elevator. The flat is small but it fits us. We’ve got a few desks pushed against the walls and a lot of filing cabinets. Ranchi weather is usually okay, but it gets pretty rainy, so we’re always making sure the windows are shut tight to protect the computers. We aren't trying to look like a big corporate headquarters. The neighborhood is mostly families, so it’s pretty quiet during the day while everyone is at school or work. We have a small kettle for making tea and we usually sit around the main table for our meetings. It’s a very grounded way to work. It’s a simple, functional space that does exactly what we need it to do without any extra fluff or nonsense.
