Our place is over in Indraprastha Colony in Ranchi. It is a decent spot in Jharkhand, though the roads can be a bit tricky when the rain starts. We work with metal, so the place is usually full of the sound of clanking and machines running. It is not the kind of job where you stay clean for very long. Most of us go home with some grease or dust on our clothes at the end of the day. The building itself is pretty basic, just enough space for the equipment and a small office corner where we keep all the paperwork. We have been in this colony for a while, and the neighbors know us by the noise and the trucks coming in and out. Managing a metallic works isn't always easy. There is always something that needs maintenance or a part that needs replacing. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure the orders are filled and the quality is alright. Ranchi has its own pace of life, and we just fit into that. Some days are slower than others, especially when we are waiting on materials to arrive from elsewhere. But mostly, we just keep busy with whatever is on the floor that day. It is steady work and it keeps the lights on, which is all we really ask for. There is no point making it sound more complicated than it is.
