Our place is in the Ranchi district of Jharkhand, specifically in the 835101 area. It is a rugged part of the country, which is perfect for a company like Maithan Ispat Limited. We are surrounded by hills and a lot of mining activity. The people who work here are tough and they know the industry inside and out. We don’t use a lot of big words or fancy talk when we are dealing with each other. It’s more about "did the truck arrive?" and "is the tally correct?" We have a simple office that serves as our base. It gets cold in the winters and dusty in the summers. That’s just Ranchi for you. We aren't looking to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to make sure the steel we are responsible for gets where it needs to go. We have some long-term staff who have been with us since we started this branch. They know the locals and the terrain. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just some maps and calendars on the walls. It works for us. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out, without making a big fuss about it. The work is steady and the environment is familiar to all of us who have spent our lives in this part of Jharkhand.
