Mahila Kissan Agro Farmer Producer is based in Hazaribagh. We operate out of Ps Barhidudhpania, specifically at the place of Jilendra Prasad Bhagat. It’s a simple setup. We are mostly farmers who wanted to work together instead of trying to do everything alone. Hazaribagh is a good place for this kind of work, though the roads can be a bit rough getting out to Barhidudhpania sometimes. We spend a lot of time talking about seeds, weather, and the prices we get for our crops. Jilendra Prasad Bhagat helps us keep the space organized so we have a place to meet and keep our files. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning. We have some desks, some old files, and usually a few people sitting around talking about the next harvest. We try to help each other out when things get tough. Being a farmer producer group means we have to stick together. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just farming and trying to sell what we grow for a decent price. If you visit us, you’ll find us busy with the real work. We are just normal people in Hazaribagh trying to make a go of it. There is no corporate polish here, just hard work and the smell of the outdoors. We get our hands dirty and we don't mind it because that is how the work gets done correctly. We keep it simple and honest.
