Maa Steel & Cement Traders

Our place, Maa Steel & Cement Traders, is located right in Ward No-2 of Pithoria. You’ll find us on Kanke Road, not far from the local Panchayat office. It’s a good spot because everyone passes by there eventually. We mostly deal with heavy bags of cement and steel rods all day. It’s dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by noon. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just a yard and a small office where we sit. Some days are quiet, and other days we have trucks coming and going constantly. We try to keep things organized, but with steel and cement, it’s always a bit of a mess. Most of our customers are just local folks building a wall or fixing a roof. We know most of the people around Pithoria by their first names. If someone needs a few bags, they just come over and talk to us. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us helping out with the loading. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the morning. We usually have some tea around ten and get back to it. It’s straightforward work. We don’t spend much time on computers or anything like that. Just selling what people need for their houses. It’s been our routine for years now and we like the neighborhood. Sometimes the rain slows things down, but we just cover the stock and wait for it to pass. It keeps us busy.
