Sudarshan Gears

Sudarshan Gears is located right out on Survey No 18, Plot No 2, in the Rameshwar Industrial Area. Since we’re near the Rajkot Gondal stretch of NH 27, we get a lot of noise from the highway, but it’s a good spot for getting things shipped out. We mostly deal with gears and mechanical parts, which means the place always smells a bit like machine oil and cold steel. It's not a quiet job. There’s the constant clinking of metal and the sound of the lathes running from early morning until we shut the lights off. I started this place with just a couple of machines and now we have a whole floor full of them, though half the time one of them is acting up and needs a bit of a kick to get going again. We don’t spend much on decorating the office because we’re usually out on the floor anyway. The guys here know their stuff, even if they aren’t the type to wear suits or use fancy words. We just focus on getting the teeth on the gears lined up perfectly so they don't fail when someone puts them into a machine. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in, eating snacks from the cart outside while we finish up the packing. It’s a simple life, really. We make things, we check them, and we send them off to wherever they’re needed. It’s what we’ve done for years now and we don't plan on changing how we do things anytime soon.
