Sonex Polymers

Sonex Polymers is situated at Survey No. 220, specifically Plot No. 7-B. If you know where India Food is, we are just right near them. We work with different types of plastics and polymers. The smell of melting plastic is something you get used to after a few days, but visitors always notice it immediately. We have a few injection molding machines and extruders that run most of the day. It gets quite warm inside the shed, especially during the summer months. Our yard is usually stacked with bags of raw material granules. Sometimes the colors get mixed up and we have to spend an afternoon sorting things out, which is a bit of a pain. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of rules. We just show up, start the machines, and try to hit our production targets. The floor has some cracks and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but that doesn't affect the quality of what we make. We’ve been at this location for several years and have a good relationship with the neighbors. Most of our days are spent checking the pressure gauges and making sure the cooling water is flowing right. It’s a practical, hands-on kind of place. We don't go in for fancy meetings; we just talk over the noise of the machines and get things done. It is hard work, but we have a good rhythm going and keep things simple.
