Jairam Plastic Industries

Our factory is sitting right at Plot No G-2720 near the Kranti Gate on the Main Road in Metoda GIDC. Rajkot is a busy place for industry, and we are right in the middle of it. We work with plastics, which means we have machines running almost all the time. It gets quite warm near the molders. We started this place because we knew how to handle the materials. It isn't a fancy setup, just a lot of bags of raw plastic and the finished parts stacked up in the corner. We spend a lot of time on the main road, seeing the trucks go by. Sometimes the traffic is a mess, but that is Rajkot for you. Inside, we are usually busy checking the quality of what comes out of the machines. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. We don't really do big presentations or anything. If someone needs plastic parts, they come talk to us, and we see if we can do it. Sometimes we have to fix a machine ourselves when it acts up. It is a lot of hands-on stuff. We don't use much fancy software, just the basics to keep track of what we owe and what we are owed. It is a simple life in the industrial zone, but it keeps us fed and busy. We keep a pile of scrap in the back that we sort through on Fridays. It’s not much, but it’s our way of working.
